Designing in partnership
with the rules of nature

SeaShift Collaborative is a space to explore science-based design solutions for ecological health. This research emerged out of the California College of the Art’s Architectural Ecologies Lab’s Constructed Ecologies seminars. In partnership with professors and students from CCA, UCSF, UC Davis and Stanford University, the group is interested in developing new approaches to materials, open-source data collection and public engagement around ecological awareness and bio-based design innovations.
